Hey thanks for the service that Microsoft failed to provide with their product.
I downloaded the first video and transferred it to my laptop and used that as my instruction book.
I am at the point of getting the second operating system installed, I hope this second video will help me do that.
Thanks again

Thanks for this great tutorial!

It seems to me, though, that the CD option, when not enabled, will just show the CD as connected to the Primary adapter rather than the secondary (i.e. this setting will not hide the CD drive from the Virtual machine as you seemed to imply in the video).

It would also be great to tell where one can obtain the Virtual Machine Additions for linux as the guest OS.

Hi, first of all i want to thank you for letting us know the advanced settings on Virtual PC, i'm starting to deal with it and this video was very useful.

I just have a little question:

You say that sharing folders between host and guest systems would be a risk to let viruses enter in the host one and i agree with that, but...what do you thing about "drag and drop" files option?, would this mechanism be also a risk to get host system infected by a virus?. I mean, i know that if i drag and drop an infected file from guest to host, i'll infect the last one, but if i'm careful about it, would a virus detect by itself that "drag and drop" files option is enabled and might the virus by itself use this way to enter the host system?

Thank you in advance!, your blog is great!

Hi,
thanks for the , it definitely made things very clear.
It would have been better if you zoomed in fully on the settings window, most of the time there grey space around it.
I think that you went into unnecessary detail for some obvious things, e.g. "... or we can come here to the menu and click settings from here.", but thats just my opinion.
